A legacy in the making
Our company’s founder, John Michael Kohler, was an Austrian immigrant, a businessman and a visionary. In 1873 he purchased a foundry in rural Wisconsin that produced a variety of cast-iron and steel products.
Ten years later, Kohler took a product in his line, heated it to 1700°F and sprinkled it with enamel powder. Placing a picture of it in the center of his one-page catalog, he called it “a horse trough/hog scalder . . . when furnished with four legs will serve as a bathtub.” Kohler was in the plumbing business.
From those humble beginnings, our company has grown into a multifaceted global family of brands that lead the way to enhance our customers’ sense of gracious living.
About Jacob Delafon.
The company Jacob Delafon was founded in 1889 by Emile Jacob (1850-1919) and the Paris dealer Maurice Delafon (1856-1933) that anticipate the development of health and hydrotherapy. They create a plant in Pouilly-sur-Saône Côte-d'Or and undertake the manufacture of sanitary glazed stoneware. The Jacob Delafon group had another plant in Navilly in Saône et Loire, founded in 1873 for the manufacture of roof tiles. This will be supported in 1882 by a second tile in the hamlet of Chapot Ciel in Saône et Loire.
The Jacob Delafon Brand was bought by Societe Generale foundry in 1938. With the acquisition of health activities of this group in 1986, the brand Jacob Delafon belongs to the American group since Kohler Company where it became its French subsidiary, Kohler France.
Cristal Et Bronze History.
Founded in 1937 by a Parisian antique dealer, Crystal and Bronze manufactures its taps and bathroom accessories in the purest tradition of expertise in French, in the medieval village of Château-Landon.
Hotel palaces, yachts, private residences ...? The architects and interior designers from five continents rely on the world of Bronze and Crystal, both for traditional collections to more contemporary styles.
Cristal et Bronze is a French manufacturer that has retained its expertise in workshops located near Paris, in the medieval village of Chateau Landon.

ACORN'S HISTORY.
In 1953, Earl Morris founded the Earl L. Morris Company (ELMCO) in downtown Los Angeles. After his years of experience selling plumbing products, Morris found that the type of products he enjoyed selling the most were those specified by the engineer.
In 1954, he established a new manufacturing division called Acorn Engineering Company. Acorn Engineering Company quickly grew to become a world leader in the manufacturing of stainless steel plumbing fixtures, valued in correctional facilities and high-traffic areas for their vandal-resistance and durability. The latest technologies in laser cutting and deep-draw press have only served to reinforce quality and longevity.
In the early 1970's, Acorn designed, engineered and produced a new market-leading product line of deep drawn and fabricated stainless steel plumbing fixtures. Consequently, Acorn became a worldwide leader in the stainless steel prison fixture market.
As Acorn Engineering Company grew, companies and partnerships were acquired in similar and unrelated fields. A new parent company was formed to encompass all the divisions—the Acorn Family of Companies. In 2012, the Acorn Family of Companies was renamed Morris Group International® to better promote the diverse industries and product lines it represents.
In 2014, Acorn Engineering Company will celebrate its 60th year in business. The founding company of Morris Group International remains a leader in stainless steel plumbing fixtures for institutional, commercial and government markets and continues to innovate to better serve engineers and contractors.
BAGNODESIGN STORY
BAGNODESIGN is a subsidiary of the SANIPEX GROUP, a market leading supplier of bathroom fixtures and fittings, tiles and plumbing materials.
Established in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 1995, as a representative to a handful of European manufacturers, the company today conducts business in over 30 countries across four continents and represents over 50 of the world’s leading brands, including its own highly successful BAGNODESIGN and AQUAZONE brands.

History Of Sherle Wagner
Sherle Wagner founded his company with his wife Rose in 1945 for the purpose of offering extraordinary bathroom fixtures, accessories and hardware. An architect by training, he recognized that the utilitarian does not have to be mundane. Mr. Wagner thus elevated often-overlooked bath elements to an elegance not previously found on the market. First offering an exquisite dolphin faucet with a 24-karat gold finish, Mr. Wagner’s goal was to offer a discerning clientele the opportunity to “complete the ultimate luxury bathroom.” Exquisite craftsmanship and old-world techniques were of utmost importance in presenting his glorious designs.
Mr. Wagner continued his strong appreciation for art and architecture throughout his life. His finely trained and sensitive eye established the foundation for the company’s exquisite esthetic, which is now synonymous with the finest in taste and craftsmanship.
Soon Sherle Wagner was able to count Presidents and movie stars among his glamorous clientele. Today, each piece from our broad collection is still meticulously fabricated in small batches using old-world techniques in our facility located here in the United States.
